The cloud computing technology has helped in bypassing the limitations of cloud system and its implementation in the manufacturing industries (Beach et al. 2013). The research paper would help in forming a general overview of the cloud computing methods that are favorable for the manufacturing industries. The research work would also provide an insight for getting accustomed with the uses of cloud system in manufacturing processes. The manufacturing industries have faced several issues and challenges while improving its production efficiency, quality, and ability (Tao et al. 2014). The emerging technology of cloud computing has helped for forming service oriented architecture and network maintenance for manufacturing industries. The study would help in providing the concept for the core enabled technology and typical characteristics of the cloud computing technologies. The differences and characteristics of cloud computing technologies are reviewed in the research study. The cloud system is distributive and coherent system that can be used for collaborating with the interconnected and distributive system of the manufacturing engineering services and processes. State-of-the-art/Literature Review Cloud computing adoption in manufacturing processes The review of the article Assessing the determinants of cloud computing adoption: An analysis of the manufacturing and services sector has shown that a number of factors have affect on the process of the cloud computing process. According to Oliveira Thomas and Espadanal (2014), the adoption of cloud system requires a wide area of analysis of these non oblivion and crucial factors. The manufacturing industries would have to make sure that they have analyzed the propagation of these factors in their employed cloud computing system. The determinants of the influence of these factors would show that system developed for the manufacturing industries must be cohesive and the study or research process would be compact. It would show that the analysis of the cloud system development model for the research process has been based on the innovative characteristics of the research process (Liang et al. 2014). The person doing the research had implied that the innovation characteristics of the r esearch from the theory of diffusion of innovation process. The data has been collected by the writer for forming the research on the topic. Diffusion of Innovation (DoI) and the TOE or Technology Organization Environment have been implied for comprehending the process of cloud computing implementation (Jiao et al. 2013). The data collected for the research is from over 300 firms of Portugal and these data have been tested for providing the hypothesis of the research process. The study has also shown some segments of the cloud system in service sectors. Overall the research has outlined the adoption of the system of the cloud computing technology in the industrialized and service prone sectors. Hence, the first research article has shown that a number of factors have affected the process of the cloud computing process (Ben-Yehuda et al. 2012). The adoption of cloud system requires analyzing the propagation of these factors in their employed cloud computing system. The overall conclusion of the article research has outlined the adoption of the system of cloud computing technology in the industrialized and service prone sectors. Digital manufacturing using Cloud system The article of Cloud based design and manufacturing: A new paradigm in digital manufacturing and design innovation has been selected for reviewing and understanding the cloud computing system in manufacturing industries. The article has shown the advent of new paradigm for the process of digital and cloud base manufacturing (Wu et al. 2015). The new and innovative design of the cloud system would help in providing the ease of manufacturing and processing of the processes. The common key characteristics of the cloud based manufacturing system have also been identified in the study analysis. The service oriented development model for networked products have been analyzed in this article. The cloud system model has been considered as the development model for the consumers with active services of enabling, configuring, utilizing and selecting the customized products. These products have services that are ranging from the computer assisted software of reconfigurable nature for the manufa cturing system. The research of the article has been focused on the aspects such as computing architectures, collaboration processes, and programming models (Rajabi Bigga Bartl 2015). The articles has critically evaluated the cloud system in manufacturing by referring to the question of whether the use of cloud system has provided the new paradigm for the manufacturing industries or the system is just a mere addition to the old process. The analysis of the definitions and processes of the cloud system and its implementation in manufacturing industries have helped in understanding the aspects and benefits of cloud system (Xu et al. 2012). A check list has been made for justifying the conclusion from the research. The comparative analysis of the cloud based design manufacturing with the collaborative traditional design of the manufacturing system would provide ample reference for knowing whether the manufacturing process with the cloud based system would be better or not. A sample ex amination of cloud based manufacturing system is smart delivery drones. It has integrated and formulated the cloud based design manufacturing in its services and processes. Hence, the second research article has shown that the Cloud based modeling had formed a new pattern in digital design and manufacturing innovation (Ji et al. 2012). The new and innovative design of the cloud system has also been identified from the study analysis. The comparative analysis of the cloud based design manufacturing with the collaborative traditional design would show the usefulness of the cloud based system. Simulation using cloud computing for engineering and manufacturing The article of Cloud computing for simulation in manufacturing and engineering: introducing the cloud SME simulation process has been analyzed for getting accustomed with the role of cloud computing in manufacturing and engineering industries by using the simulation technique. According to Taylor et al. (2014), the simulation software would be helpful for knowing the benefits of cloud computing in manufacturing and engineering process. The analysis would require using scalable and demanding resources for speeding the development of the process composed from simulating and modeling services. This computing simulation would help in providing the benefit of the developed appropriate expertise on the complex technologies. The cloud simulation technology used in this article is SMaaS and it has been based on the gUSE and Cloud Broker technologies. The system has been used for creating the cloud computing versions for the simulation of the cloud computing simulating software such as Simul8 s discrete event simulation environment (Ji et al. 2012). The research paper has discussed about the platform used for implementing the simulation software for cloud based and the process for implementing the system. Hence, the third research article has shown the analysis of cloud system for knowing the role of cloud computing in manufacturing as well as engineering industries by using the simulation technique (Ben-Yehuda et al. 2012). The research paper has discussed about the platform used for implementing the simulation in the computing system. Theoretical Content/Methodology Theoretical content of the research The primary goal of the research process is formulating the process of analysis of the cloud computing system for the manufacturing industry (Billig Waterman 2014). It would provide the information for the analysis of the cloud computing and its use in manufacturing industries. The technology is useful for converting the manufacturing resources into services and capabilities. It would help in managing and operating the system in a unified and intelligent way for enabling the compact and wholesome sharing of the resources. The concept of manufacturing refers to the complete lifecycle of the product such as designing, simulating, production, testing and maintenance (Tomandl et al. 2015). The cloud system consists of parallel and distributed network system for forming the integrated and interconnected service pool for manufacturing resources involved in the whole lifecycle. Methodology used for research The methodology used for the research analysis of the topic Cloud computing contribution to the manufacturing industry is Meta Analysis which is a hybrid of qualitative and quantitative (Kratochwill Levin 2015). It would be the best method for analysis of the research process. The research topic has not many researches being done and it is also not possible for concluding the outcome using the data collected from a single organization. Hence the process of Meta Analysis would be easily helpful for examining a wider area of research for the topic. The most important characteristics of the cloud service solution is providing the customers with option of upgrade and control over its installation The cloud service has provided the consistent support for the global operations of the organizations. The cloud system has provided the system for rapid and frequent upgrades in the manufacturing industry.
